Optimetriks is a start up whose mission is to transform the informal retail distribution in Africa. Our clients are consumer goods companies which employ large number of field forces and require more visibility on their product presence in stores.
We are building a SaaS relying on a mobile app deployed to the field users and a web application for back office and reporting purposes. We put the smart use of technology at the core of our value proposition to clients. This means a user friendly UX, a flexible and scalable platform and beautiful visualisations.
One of our large project consists in supporting a client in West Africa which sells products to millions of customer through a field force of 10,000 street vendors. Our system will be used to track their performance on a daily basis.
We are looking for a reliable Project Manager to help us in adapting our infrastructure to meet the client requirements. The overall duty will be to ensure project is delivered on time within budget and scope.
You should have a background in technology, be familiar with software development project management methodologies and be able to engage in discussions with both business and technical teams.
Develop project scopes and objectives, involve all stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
Prepare detailed product requirements and prototypes, based on the functional and technical specifications defined. Define the release cycles.
Organize and coordinate internal technical resources and potential freelancers for the flawless execution of projects. Oversee timely delivery of the project, ensure it remains within scope and budget.
Act as the interface between the business requirements of the clients and the technical capabilities of the existing infrastructure
Prepare a detailed project plan to track progress, monitor performance with an appropriate system and share regular reports for management
Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. Assess additional workload
Maintain a constant relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Draft the solution documentation
Be interested in Africa innovation. Keen on working in a tech start-up
Experience of working in the technology sector on a project delivery cycle
Strong understanding of software development and web technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Outstanding organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills, in French and English
Complete educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
Based in Paris
Fixed term contract
Travel to Accra (Ghana) will be required
