About us

Optimetriks is an Africa based company whose solutions enable FMCG companies operating in Africa to get a tighter control over their distribution networks, reach their full sales potential and better understand the market dynamics through smarter field data.

We have built an agile and mobile first sales force automation solution in a Software-as-a-service mode, relying on a robust mobile app and web reporting dashboards, to digitize the main distribution workflows: outlet management, retail audit, order placement, etc.

We enable a scientific data driven distribution in the informal trade sector, made up of millions of small outlets. We work for Tier 1 clients, such as Nestlé, Danone, L'Oreal, Airtel, Tigo, IFC, World Bank, etc.

About the position

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and help us with supervising, tracking and evaluation of company daily activities. Your duties will include maintaining company's financial status by creating and implementing collection, analytics, verification and reporting practices. You will work closely with the CFO.

Accounting Manager responsibilities are:

  • Organize the whole set of daily activities of the accounting department, such as accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, fixed asset activity, month-end and year-end procedures, trust account statement reconciliations, treasury, budgeting, payroll, etc.
  • Develop and maintain optimized accounting practices
  • Collect and analyze accounting data and prepare financial reports based on the analysis results
  • Review existing systems and procedures and develop optimization suggestions
  • Manage accounting personnel and ensure you meet financial accounting objectives
  • Organize and review annual audits
  • Create and maintain fiscal documentation





What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working on an Accounting / Finance position
  • Good understanding of MS Office, Google Docs, accounting software and databases
  • Experience of processing large amounts of data
  • Strong team management skills, accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Master Degree with specialisation in Finance
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ability to be autonomous and proactive
  • An interest for working in Africa
  • Fluent in French and English
